Welcome to Montara's
Nature Journaling Club
"I was barefoot and had been walking slowly in meditation across the lawn. I stopped and was standing very still and silent when this worm crawled out of the earth and traveled across my foot before disappearing into the grass. I had never liked worms that much, but in that moment I firstly felt intense gratitude that it had deemed me safe enough to walk over."

When and where do you meet?We meet the first Saturday of every month at 11 am and gather at the San Pedro Trailhead of Rancho Corral de Tierra. Please see details under the "when" and "where" tabs!
-
What is Nature Journaling?Nature Journaling is not about creating pretty pictures. Nature Journaling is a way to bond with the natural world as well as yourself and other people. The notebook is simply a tool to make you focus and observe - not a final outcome. Learn more on the "blog", "what", and "why" tabs! In addition, YouTube has many great videos on the subject.
-
Do I need to bring anything?Nope! I have pencils and paper at the ready. However, for your comfort, water, proper clothing, a picnic blanket, and drawing/writing tools may be brought along. See a complete list on the "what" tab.
-
Who can I contact for more information?I am Elle, and I am excited to guide along your Nature Journaling journey! You can reach me at montarasnaturejournalingclub@gmail.com or using the form under the "how" tab.
