Forest Bathing Group!

When: FIRST SUNDAY of every month from 1 to 2 pm. We love all beings at Montara's Forest Bathing Club, so yes, your dog is welcome! However, please be sure he or she can sit still and be quiet for extended periods of time. He or she must also be kept on a leash at all times, as say park rules.

Jacket, water, good shoes... just the usual outdoor tools. Also, feel free to bring some nature journaling supplies since we will have time to sit down and journal or meditate.

Hi! My name is Elle. I started this club back in March 2024 as a Nature Journaling Club. Recently, I realized that what I considered "Nature Journaling" is not what most people consider Nature Journaling. After reflecting, I realized that what I've been trying to do all along is run a Forest Bathing club. Under this new name, I feel the freedom to try and bring mindfulness and nature together into one activity. Everyone is welcome!! Young and old, meek and bold, anyone can and will benefit from Forest Bathing. All you have to do is bring an open mindset and be ready to be quiet for a little while. Also, we will be doing some easy, slow walking with mild hills, so be sure you are feeling up to these walks before coming.
